Quasimoto (also known as Lord Quas) is the alter ego or the side project of hip hop producer Madlib, from Oxnard, California. Quas is known for the raised pitch of his voice as if he was inhaling helium. Another notable characteristic is Quas inter-changing with Madlib's voice.

Elle fait ses premiers pas dans le rap a 14 ans et intègre le D.A. System (Mysta. D, Abuz, Tepa, Stor K). Elle fonde avec Tepa le groupe Les Spécialistes en 1997.
Elle a été sollicitée pour de nombreux projets et a accumuleé de 1995 à 1999 plus d'une cinquantaine de mixtapes (Cut Killer, DJ Poska, Oxmo Puccino, IV My People), compilations (Nouvelle Donne 1, Lab'elles, L'invincible armada, Opération freestyle, D. Abuz System), et plus de 150 concerts en France et à l'étranger (Le Printemps de Bourges, le Festival Solidays, Algérie, Suisse, Allemagne).
En 1999, Princess Aniès accompagnée de Tepa, sort le 1er album des Spécialistes. Cet album reçoit le prix de la meilleure autoproduction de l'année lors du Festival XXL Performances. Princess Aniès fut d'ailleurs reconnue par les lecteurs de Groove comme l'une des meilleures rappeuses alors qu'elle n'avait rien sorti en solo.[réf. nécessaire]
Princess Aniès devient la première rappeuse animatrice de radio en 1999, en animant avec Bob l'émission Générations 2000.[réf. nécessaire] Elle participe à des projets tels que Première Classe Vol.2, Mission Suicide, Cutee B. Style, IV My People.
Après plusieurs maxis dont "Celle qui/Sans cesse", Princess Aniès sort son premier album solo en novembre 2002, Conte de faits. Cet album devient la meilleure vente en indépendant de l'année. Elle monte son label indépendant avec Amara (Tilt prod) sur lequel sort son album" conte de faits". Elle enregistre dans la foulée son premier clip Si j'étais un homme. Durant l'enregistrement, elle réalise le morceau Hip Hop Citoyens où interviennent divers artistes dans le but de réagir au premier tour de l'élection présidentielle française de 2002.
Les Spécialistes signent ensuite chez IV My People. Princess Aniès entre en studio pour enregistrer le deuxième album des Spécialistes : Reality Show sorti en septembre 2005. Ils feront les 1ères parties de Kool Shen sur sa tournée d'adieu dont l'Olympia et le Zénith.
Elle travaille sur le deuxième album d'Amara "Portrait craché" sorti en 2006 sur le label Tilt.
Princess Aniès sort un Best Of le 26 septembre 2006, Ma p'tite histoire. Un double CD qui retrace toute son histoire dans la musique avec plus de 50 titres. Elle est invitée sur l'album de Laam, une de ses amies, et le titre qu'elles font ensemble devient un hit de l'été et entre dans le top single plusieurs mois.
L'album Au carrefour de ma douleur est sorti depuis le 28 janvier 2008. Cet album est accompagné d'un dvd documentaire dans lequel elle a réalisé un "journal de bord" sur son voyage dans des camps de réfugiés darfouris au Tchad. Elle nous montre les conditions de vie des réfugiés, essaie de nous expliquer le conflit du Darfour. Un documentaire retrace également son parcours musical et des invités se confient sur sa personnalité (Tepa, Amara, Abuz, Kool Shen, Dj Akil...). On pourra la voir également sur scène, domaine dans lequel elle excèle, que ce soit en France (Francofolies, Zénith,...) ou encore à l'étranger (Madagascar, Mali, Gabon, Cameroun, Martinique, Maroc, Algérie...) cumulant ainsi plus de 400 concerts.
Elle a à son actif 2 albums avec son groupe, 2 albums solo, un double street cd. Elle est actuellement en studio pour finaliser son 3ème album solo.

Es un dúo formado por Amp live (dj y productor) y Zion a.k.a. Zumbi (Mc). Surgen como grupo ya en el 1998 y se mantienen activos hasta el día de hoy. Oriundos de California y con 5 discos oficiales lanzados, Zion I es uno de los grupos mas respetados en el movimiento underground de California, ya que poseen un estilo muy particular con sonidos eclécticos, a ratos futuristicos, y con líricas que aundan en la critica política y la positividad.
En el año 2000 nos entregan su primer trabajo llamado “Mind Over Matter” , el cual les costó 4 años de trabajo. En este disco figuran raperos como Planet Asia y Rasco (Cali Agent). El dúo tuvo que esperar 3 años para lanzar su 2º trabajo, que lleva por nombre “Curb Servin´” (el cual es un mixtape) y dentro del mismo año lanzaron su 3º trabajo llamado “Politicks”(otro mixtape) en donde se cuenta con la participación de destacados emcees tales como Mr Lif, Goapele, Akrobatik, Deuce Eclipse y muchos más.
El año 2003 fue un año fructífero para este dúo que nos sorprendió con otro álbum más bajo el nombre de “Deep Water Slang 2.0”, en donde nuevamente encontramos a la cantante Goapele y también a Aceyalone y Pep Love, por nombrar algunos. Pero eso no es todo, al año siguiente lanzan al mercado un nuevo mixtape llamado “Family Business” en donde se destacan cantantes como, Encore, Ms. Mariana, Pep Love, C Rayz Walz, entre otros.
Viendo qué el dúo tenia una buena acogida entre el público, en el año 2005 lanzan el álbum llamado “True & Livin”, bajo el sello Live Up Record en donde aparecen emcees de renombre tales como Talib Kweli, Del (Del Tha Funkee Homosapien del grupo Hieroglyphics) y Aesop Rock (del sello Definitive Jux). Este se convierte en uno de los mejores trabajo de Zion I tanto por los beats como por sus letras.
En el año 2006 nos entregan su cuarto album de estudio “Break a Down”, publicado exclusivamente en Japón el 13 de junio de 2006 a través del sello Handcuts. El disco sigue la misma línea sonora de los trabajos anteriores de Zion I, cargados de sonidos refrescantes, y con beats electrónicos futurista por decirlo de algún modo, con letras que aundan en el amor al movimiento y en la critica política. Tambien en 2006 publican el album "Heroes In The City Of Dope", en el cual los artistas del West Coast Zion I y The Grouch unen fuerzas cobijados por Om Records. Viene con la ayuda en producción de Dj AmpLive e incluye destacadas apariciones como las de Chali 2na y Esthero.

The Cinematics are a Scottish band originating from the small Scottish Highland town of Dingwall and are currently based in Glasgow. They formed in Glasgow in autumn 2003, although they already knew one another from their hometown of Dingwall. Scott Rinning (lead vocals, guitar) and Ross Bonney (drums) relocated to Glasgow for university, whilst the other two band members Ramsay Miller (lead guitar) and Adam Goemans (bass guitar) moved to Glasgow to attend music college. The band were signed by Lenny Johnson, head of A&R at TVT Records in 2005 after playing at an "In the City" showcase gig in Manchester. The band cite their influences as ranging from The Clash to Talking Heads, and are making a name for themselves in supporting acts such as Editors, Mute Math, We Are Scientists, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party and The Bravery. Enjoying success in the USA and continental Europe, as well as the United Kingdom, with their singles "Chase" and "Break", The Cinematics' latest single, "Keep Forgetting", was released in February 2007. Their long-awaited debut album A Strange Education was produced by Simon Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Editors, Kaiser Chiefs) and Stephen Hague (New Order, Blur, Pet Shop Boys), and released on March 6, 2007. Later in 2007, they released their Live Sessions EP, that was available for download exclusively on iTunes. In March 2008, their lead guitarist Ramsay Miller announced on the band's myspage blog that he would be leaving the band to look after his newborn son. Their new lead guitarist is Larry Reid, formerly of popular Glasgow-based band, Blitzhoney. Their myspace blog reports that they are currently in their hometown of Glasgow, writing their second studio album.
